Odosketch!

I just found this website in where you can draw your own sketches and then play it back to see how it was done! I'll definitely try it out :)

Hurray! Thank goodness for the extended Fall!

I'm quite shocked for not seeing a lot of snow lately. It's the first week of December and there is not even one snowflake around! It is a record for Rexburg! Yesterday snowed but it was so light that didn't survive the warm sunbeams. I don't know if that's due to the global warming or what, but at least we got to be cozy and warmer this year :)
School is almost done (two more weeks) but it is going to be crazy and tough, since I'm so much behind in my final projects for my art classes. Wish me luck! and I'll try to stay warm as long as this weather resists.

Enjoy the pics I took with my new camera! :P

Oh Boy... Christmas came early this year.

Man, today is the 26th... which means that my break is over already :( but we got to watch Breaking Dawn for free today! thanks to the free tickets I got like a month ago when I bought $40 dollars worth of art supplies in the bookstore.

... so, for Black Friday we decided to only get a memory card for Craig's new smart phone and also get a 60 dollar camera. Well...we ended up with a new drafting table, an easel, a 200 dollar camera, 2 8 G SD cards, 2 4G micro SD cards, a camera case, a candle warmer, a glade plug in, towels, bed sheets, Hdmi Monster cable, a Sony 3D WiFi Blue Ray player and around 10 Blue Ray movies.....looks like Santa came early this year and for the next 5 years lol
! Seriously I can't ask for anything else AND I really don't need anything else for Christmas.

.... as for Thanksgiving... dinner was delicious as it is every year, and I did make my apple pie ;)

Here is Kaden posing with the hat of the 3 eyed alien we got from
Toy Story on Ice :) He was so cute trying it on.

Also, can you tell I slightly dyed my hair? I did it by myself with a shade from L'OREAL... I didn't want it to be a drastic change but a more natural one...

A break on time!

Well, we only have 4 weeks to go (and that's even counting this week!) so it's actually 3 weeks until this semester is over! I can't stand the excitement of finishing this semester. It's been the hardest and most stressful one so I really needed this break. I will be having the time to make up all the things I haven't done and more time to relax.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving! and I'm going to make my apple pie recipe, thanks to Brandon Lowe (my former supervisor).
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

"Well, I guess I'll have to walk"

7:30. The lady that drives the local bus was already here, and I had to hurry to gather all my things together to take'em to school. Homework; checked, art supplies; checked, notebook;checked, macbook;checked. I had everything ready and I put it in my backpack but my homework, since it was my abstract paintings that I finished last night, and were kinda wet with Liquin, I put them in a plastic bag and set them on the couch. The lady horned the honk, so I had to hurry and leave the apartment, I was afraid she would leave without us (since some of the bus drivers have done it in the past). I put my shoes, coat and gloves ( yep, it is freezing already) Craig asked me if i had everything. Yep, I had everything... or at least that's what I thought.
-"You have to get your stuff ready before going to bed" Told me Craig. -"I know" I replied to him.
We boarded the bus and took our seats. The lady started to drive...
-"Oh shoot! I forgot my homework! I left it on the couch." The lady was almost on the corner of our block. Craig asked her if she could stop because "we" forgot something. The mean lady said that she couldn't wait and my hubby told me that it was ok, he was going to walk to school.
I felt pretty guilty for not getting my stuff ready the night before. Papi was going to sacrifice his safe and warm ride to school, and all because I forgot that dumb plastic bag.
It felt weird riding the bus without him. I missed him and felt bad when I pictured him walking on the cold-ice like weather... I wanted to remember this moment that showed me how much my hubby loves me and what he is willing to do for me. I will never forget how did I feel, because I knew how much he loves me. This is the kind of acts of love that are genuine. I love you Craig! and thanks for all you've done for me.

Hello Blog

I decided my blog needed a new fresh look. I posted it here so I can remember how it looked in November :) ... you know just in case I change it and then I decide to use the same fonts etc. later. PLUS... I finally learned how to snap a photograph of my screen. Lol I'm so proud of myself. Check it out!

Expressions of Love

I love this message! I appreciate everything my husband does for me, and it makes me feel remorse for all the times I get upset with him over stupid things. I only have to remember the covenants we made with Heavenly Father and work on polishing our roughness. I love having the Gospel in my life, and knowing that we are an eternal family.

MEXICO LINDO Y QUERIDO

It was two years without seeing my family, so of course I was EXCITED to go to Mexico! We had our trip on August and stayed there for 4 weeks. It was amazing, and actually it was the BEST vacation that I have e.v.e.r had

I won't post all the pics we took because it's over 1,500. We went to lots of places.
I just uploaded the pics from when we went to Teotihuacan!
Enjoy

I'll post another slideshow of what else we did... which it's pretty exciting because among all the things we did is:
1) Swam with dolphins in Six Flags Mexico!
2) Went to Xochimilco
3) Went to Ripley's and the Wax museum
4) Rode a tour bus around Mexico City!
5) Went to Toy Story 3 on ICE!
6) Went to Acapulco

It's a PURPLE B-day party!!!!

Well... most of my recent posts are from last month. Sorry! But I haven't had the time to upload pics nor do anything in my blog since I'm extremely busy this semester with the 4 art classes I'm taking, and a dumb English class online ... pfff! Izzy's party was in September by the way.

... So Fabi (my dear friend from my ward) wanted me to help her decorate her daughter's "Purple" B-day party. Izzy decided to have a purple party since it is her favorite color. So it's mine! ... so we did get the necessary things, and we threw the party at church, next to the base-ball field. Since we and our hubbies have the calling in the Nursery, we invited the kids from there. It was so much fun since we already know them :)

This is Izzy on her 3rd B-day!

Playing B-day games ;)

This is Dani...

... so Dani loves to eat... a lot! ... look at her face gazing at the cake. When we gave her a piece she ate it all and then started to eat Izzy's lol. The cake was amazing btw! ... it was tres leches of course! and had Rapunzel on top! What else can a 3 year old ask? :P

PiƱata!!

It was super funny to watch the kids hitting the piƱata. Especially when Fabi and I started to sing the traditional song to hit it, and since it is in Spanish, the bigger kids started to sing it in gibberish lol! they all had a blast :)

It goes like this:
Dale, dale, dale, no pierdas el tino
porque si lo pierdes, pierdes el camino
ya le diste una, ya le diste dos,
ya le diste tres y tu tiempo se acabo!

What a B-day

Today (October 13th) is my favorite day of the year because an angel came down from the heavens just to be with me! Thanks for all your love and for brighten up my life. Happy B-day Craig! I love you!

... It was a good day, except that Craig had to stay at school til 6 for his Lab, which.... gave me just enough time to prepare his small B-day party :)

We enjoyed this day, despite the rough schedule. I love my hubby and I'm very grateful to have him as my eternal companion.

This was his B-day cake, or better said cakes hehe. It was the tres leches one that is amazing! It is our favorite type of cake (yummy yummy) it was delicious!

Regalitosss para ti!

So besides being my hubby's B-day we had another big event: Michael's arrival from his mission!
He has served 2 years in Guatemala and we all were very excited to see him again.

We are proud of you Elder Evans!

3rd Time Around!

So I just realized that's been a year since I haven't posted anything in here! and it is a mere coincidence that we just went to Boo at the Zoo this past week, since my last post (a year ago) was about the same thing!

We had so much fun watching Karter and Kaden participating in the costume contest this year, and they both won 3rd place with their amazing chicken and mouse pirates costumes! Check'em out!

I just realized that Karter has your smile Holly!

Here's the family, including Mike that just returned from his mission in Guatemala! and the new addition to the family, Travis, who's marrying Julie this December! ;)

Here we are Craig and I, posing in front of our Halloween cat as it has become a tradition every year :) We had so much fun at boo at the Zoo for the 3rd time around! :)
