What happened on Valentine's Day

Sorry I posted this too late, but I couldn't let not to post it. Moreover, it was our first Valentine's Day together and our first one as hubby and wifey as well!

I was really sick in those days but I couldn't stop to go to see what could I get for my baby. I know this day isn't really "important" because you don't say "I LOVE YOU" or show how much you love someone just in this day but in all your days of your life with small things. So, anyway, this day was special to me. I wanted to surprise him. So I went to Walmart, Kmart, dollar tree, Deseret book, and I couldn't find anything but a couple of pop corn bowls, a plushie dog and a love card ( I got the pop corn bowls 'cause we watch lots of movies). This was I had so far until the day before Valentines we went to do laundry and we went really quick to Walgreens. I took advantage of the opportunity when Craig saw a movie that was among his top 5 favorite movies: Clifford. I know. Which is that movie? you can see it here :)

I bought Jumanji as well because there was a promotion to get 2 for $7 . It was perfect and the movies matched with the pop corn bowls. It was really hard to get lost of the Craig's sight because we really went to return a movie that we had rented so we weren't there to purchase anything and he was always at my side. I didn't know how I was going to make it. I was looking around anything that Craig could be entertained there while I was going to buy, and my opportunity came. I was relieved because I had everything planned for the next day.
So, Valentine's day started for Craig with some hidden notes on Reese's chocolates all around our apartment. In the drawer, shower, kitchen shelfs, even in the fridge and at Church!! I made sure to hid the notes in places where he couldn't find all in the moment, but to find them along the day until night... under his pillow :)

In the evening I gave him the card and then we agreed to make chicken wings. Craig helped me and it was fun to do something together. While eating we wanted to watch a movie (and I was excited for the movie I got for him hehe) so I laid on the couch and next to me was a blanket, so I took it off and surprise surprise! there was a read little bear, some candies of Twilight, chocolates and marshmallows with a shape of bears. All the day this blanket was on the couch, now we know why, I never suspected of it ;) I loved my little bear is so cute and is similar to the bear I got from Craig last year (despite we were so far away from each other).

Meanwhile, he was picking which movie to see. I needed to act, so I put both Clifford and Jumanji with the pop corn bowls and the plushie wrapped in his coat and I put it next to him (he didn't notice that!)
So I said: " Honey could you pass me your coat?"
He grabbed his coat and felt something in there. When he saw what it was he was really surprised!! especially because he was wondering how did I buy Clifford if we never talked about it before and I didn't knew it was one of his fav. movies LOL!

We ended up watching Clifford (really weird but funny movie)and after that, we ate the Valentine's cake I made and talked and talked about how much our lives had changed and that it is a miracle I'm here and we are finally together. We had a really special moment in our first Valentine's
Day.

i Did iT!!!

Despite it was the most stressful moment in my life, and I couldn't focus well, I passed the TOEFL test!!

BYU-I asks to the international applicants to get 66 as minimal score to be a student.

So when my score was ready I was so nervous! I remember I was in the living room and Craig in the bathroom and I saw that my score was available in the TOEFL website. I was so excited and afraid at the same time, so I shouted very loud "AMOOOOORRR!!!" (honey) to Craig .... he was so surprised by my shout that he came out running from the bathroom LOL!! he thought something bad had happened to me, poor hubby hahaha. SO anyway, I couldn't look at my score by my self, so I asked Craig to look at it and if it was bad news just say it to me in a subtle way. He looked at it and his face was neutral, just moving his head slowly up and down , like saying "yes". I was like " tell me!! what is it!!??" and he kept moving his head like that without saying a word. Seeing his "good sign" (the head movement) I couldn't resist it, so I dared to look at it and it said "Total score: 73" ... wwwwwhat!!??? I couldn't believe it!! I did it!!!! I think Craig couldn't believe it neither, maybe that's why he was so "neutral" :)

So with my test passed, I could finished my application to BYU-I last week.
As I was studying Graphic Design in Mexico, they are gonna transfer my credits here!! and if everything goes well, I'll start studying again on the fall, isn't that amazing?? :D

I just need to wait 1 month more to know if they are gonna accept me. Wish me luck!!
